Who Writes the Caesars Windsor Guide

This is an independent guide to Caesars Windsor, the casino resort on the Detroit River waterfront in Windsor, Ontario. The guide accepts no wagers, and its byline belongs to the Riverside Desk, which serves as its editorial desk.

Who is behind it

Independence is the rule here. The guide is neither Caesars Windsor nor Caesars Entertainment nor OLG, and it does not speak for any of them. Bets, accounts and a cashier are all absent, so nothing can be deposited, wagered or withdrawn on this site.

Every page is signed by the Riverside Desk, the guide's editorial desk. No named author sits behind the byline. The desk describes the venue from the outside, the way a city paper would.

Where the facts come from

Facts come from the casino's own pages at caesars.com, the Caesars fact sheet and the regional tourism board. OLG, the AGCO, iGaming Ontario, the province of Ontario and local news fill in the rest. The desk checked them on October 1, 2026.

Counts from the Caesars fact sheet keep the word "over", as the sheet gives them. That explains the floor figures given here: over 80 table games, plus over 2,000 slot machines.

Some things are not published. Restaurant hours, apart from the Tim Hortons that runs 24 hours, are on the casino's own restaurant page at caesars.com. Questions about check-in and check-out times go to the hotel at 1-800-991-7777. Table minimums are not listed either, and the guide says so rather than guessing.

How the paid links work

Each paid link in this guide carries an Ad tag, and all of them are confined to the home page. A click on any of them opens a private online casino partner. This guide gives no name for that partner, which may change, and offers no guarantee for it. Readers should compare any online casino with the iGaming Ontario directory at igamingontario.ca. Online play requires age 19+ and a physical presence in Ontario.

No link to the casino, OLG, the province or help services is paid.

How the pictures were made

The pictures in this guide were produced by image-generating software for the site. The faces in them belong to no real people. None of the scenes was taken at the casino. The board with the casino name is part of the generated picture.

The hotel room, the gallery by Cosmos Lounge and the indoor pool are modelled on real Caesars Windsor photographs. The lobby fountain and the entrance drive are free licence photographs by others, with people and cars removed; the list below names author, licence and change. The views of the towers from the river and of the Forum Tower are Wikimedia Commons photographs, credited under each picture. The riverside picture on the home page is a generated scene, not one shot at the casino.

No sign-in, forms or ad trackers. A tiny cookie-free counter notes the page opened, and the outside tallying service gets the reader's IP address and browser type. The light or dark display choice stays in the browser tab and goes nowhere else.
